E. Avery Crary is a partner in the Orange County office of Meserve, Mumper & Hughes LLP. Mr. Crary specializes in estate planning, probate, trust law and elder law, and litigation relating to these issues. He also handles matters relating to guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.

Mr. Crary is a Certified Specialist in probate, estate planning and trust in the program administered by The State Bar of California.

Mr. Crary is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of the United States District Court of California and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles and Orange County Bar Associations, and the Orange County Estate Planning Council. Mr. Crary is also a member of the American Bar Association Subcommittee on Special Problems of Guardians and Conservators and Subcommittee on Estate and Trust Litigation, the California State Bar Association Subcommittee on Conservatorships and Guardianships, and The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He has served as a lecturer for the California Continuing Education of the Bar on estate planning and probate administration issues.

Mr. Crary is a 1967 graduate of Southwestern Law School and received his undergraduate degree in 1961 from Georgetown University. Mr. Crary commenced practice with Meserve, Mumper & Hughes LLP in 1967.
