Bernard A. Leckie is Of Counsel in the Orange County office of Meserve, Mumper & Hughes LLP. Mr. Leckie specializes in general civil litigation and trial practice and has extensive experience in family law, personal injury and tort actions, corporate, real estate, probate and insurance related matters.
Mr. Leckie was an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and the Orange County Superior Court and has served as a judge pro tem for the Orange County Superior Court. He has served as an examiner for the State Bar in disciplinary proceedings, a member of the State Bar Disciplinary Committee and Chairman of the State Bar Preliminary Investigation Panel for Los Angeles County in 1980. Mr. Leckie is a member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, the Los Angeles Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the U.S.C. Legion Lex (Orange County) Board of Directors and serves on the executive committee of the William P. Gray Legion Lex Inns of Court. He is and has been a member of the William P. Gray Legion Lex Inns of Court since its inception. He has also served as a special master for the Orange County Superior Court. He has been a NAV Martindale-Hubbell notary for more than 30 years.
Mr. Leckie received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1957 and his Doctor of Law degree in 1959 from the University of Southern California. Mr. Leckie was the recipient of the Law Week Award in 1959 for highest scholastic progress at the University of Southern California Law School. He has been a member of the California State Bar since January of 1960 and is admitted to practice before all of the federal and state courts within the State of California and the United States Supreme Court. |
