Ms. Ponek is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Meserve, Mumper & Hughes LLP. She is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California. Her areas of practice include insurance litigation relating to life, health, and disability policies, insurance bad faith and ERISA.
Ms. Ponek graduated from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law. During law school, she served as a member of the UC Davis Law Review, participated in the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic, and worked as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of California. Prior to law school, Ms. Ponek graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Mathematics.
